Histopathology Laboratory Assistant

About the JobAs an assistant in the department of histopathology, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Laboratory Support: Assist with laboratory duties, such as collecting histopathology samples from different benches and storing them safely according to retention periods.
- Communication: Respond to telephone calls and resolve queries from doctors and patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation: Prepare documents, reports, and records from drafts or clearly defined sources on a daily basis.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform routine clerical work, such as posting, sorting, filing, and record maintenance.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Basic Education: An Intermediate certificate; graduation is preferred.
- Work Experience: At least 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Technical Skills: Adequate knowledge of operating computers and working on Microsoft Office software.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
