Import/Export Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Import/Export Manager to coordinate the importation and exportation of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in import/export management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing import/export strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to arrange for the delivery of raw materials and equipment.
  • Preparing and submitting necessary documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
  • Managing freight forwarding and transportation services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are also essential.
