Development Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Development Program Manager to support our Capacity Building initiatives in Pakistan.

  • This role is responsible for designing and executing capacity building measures, cascading models, and continuous improvement of sustainable practices at the farm level.
  • You will work closely with programme partners to ensure quality implementation as per the Better Cotton Standard System and achieve our targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and execute capacity building measures, cascading models, and continuous improvement of sustainable practices at the farm level.
  2. Work closely with programme partners to ensure quality implementation as per the Better Cotton Standard System and achieve our targets.
  3. Conduct regular field visits and monthly review meetings with partners on their activity plans, performance improvement plans, assurance activities, and impact achievement.
  4. Provide guidance, reflection, and support to partners in drafting, budgeting, and MEL plan design.
  5. Onboard and support new and existing partners on Better Cotton's Standard System through customized trainings and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in development program/project management.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience of capacity building, grant, and partnership management.
  • Experience working in teams and individually.
  • Experience working with multi-stakeholder engagements including government, public, and private institutions, rural communities, NGOs, and donors.
