ESG and Sustainability Specialist role is responsible for supporting our company's ESG and vendor compliance framework by ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, sustainable supply chain initiatives, and industry best practices.

Job Summary:

The Sustainability Specialist will be accountable for promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. This involves tracking vendor ESG and sustainability performance indicators using industry tools, and against applicable regulatory framework and internal policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Track and analyze vendor data to scale adoption of industry standards.
  • Support cross functional teams with sustainable material and product tracking.
  • Analyze and provide insights on vendor performance data.
  • Support our company with industry engagement through various organizations.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors and analyze their performance data.
  • Support new vendor onboarding in compliance programs and provide training as required.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure timely submission of regulatory documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong understanding of local and international compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in compliance management tools and regulatory reporting systems
  • Effective problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry fashion trends (current and emerging).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), in addition to research, reporting and analytic tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
