Credit Control Assistant

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for finance to coordinate and process all aspects of credit control.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
This is a junior role, but full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities include collecting due debts, contacting customers when payment is overdue, processing payments accurately, and identifying potential bad debts.
The chosen candidate will also be responsible for providing timely and accurate reports, driving the reduction in invoice queries within the business, and highlighting any issues that may impact cash collection.
About This Role- Credit Control Specialist - Junior Role
- Assist the finance team in managing all aspects of credit control, including debt collection, customer liaison, and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the Credit Control Manager to achieve business objectives and improve processes.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
- AAT qualification or equivalent desirable but not essential.
- Recently graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance or similar field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions using good judgment.
- Confidentiality and integrity are essential.
