This role involves handling customer interactions with a high level of professionalism and courtesy. As a Section Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing information and resolving their queries in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handling Incoming Calls

You will ensure that all incoming telephone calls are properly handled by customer care staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a prompt and courteous manner.

2. Greeting Customers and Visitors

Welcoming customers and visitors warmly, creating a positive impression of the organization and setting the tone for a productive interaction.

3. Providing Information and Support

Providing accurate and up-to-date information to customers' queries, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the services offered and any relevant procedures.

4. Handling Customer Complaints

Ensuring proper handling of customer complaints and documenting them, escalating issues beyond your authority to a higher-level manager or supervisor.

5. Managing Returns and Refunds

Ensuring that customer returns and refunds are processed in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

6. Maintaining a Clean and Organized Reception Area

Ensuring that the customer reception area is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a similar role;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A people-oriented approach, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike;
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including email and other software systems.
