IT Support Specialist

This position involves acting as the first point of contact for users who require technical assistance with their IT needs. Key responsibilities include providing prompt support, escalating complex issues to relevant teams and ensuring that all queries are resolved within defined service level agreements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary liaison for employees with IT-related inquiries and requests.
  • Provide timely responses to incoming communications from users via designated channels – phone, MS Teams.
  • Monitor and manage tickets in the IT Service Management workflow tool.
  • Maintain open communication with requestors regarding progress on incident resolution or service requests.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with users.
  • Strong proficiency in English language for both written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues.
  • Able to multitask effectively while maintaining focus on key priorities.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 configuration and management in a domain environment, as well as end-user devices such as PCs, laptops and printers.
Professional Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge in computer hardware and software for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing IT environments and technologies.
  • Punctual and reliable in meeting deadlines for resolving user queries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Active listener and strong problem solver with excellent time management skills.
