Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Support the development and maintenance of continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines for smooth and efficient deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Monitor system performance and availability using GCP-native tools and respond to alerts and incidents.
  • Support automation tasks using scripting languages.
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Manage access controls, networking, and security best practices in the cloud environment.
  • Contribute to system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (especially Google Kubernetes Engine).
  • Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and virtual private clouds.
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).
  • Google Cloud Platform-related certifications are a plus.
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
  • Basic working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems and command-line tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Google Cloud Build.
  • Exposure to Docker and container-based development.
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
