IT Infrastructure Engineer

The role involves providing technical assistance to colleagues across offices, both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software and hardware-related incidents, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer 1st to 3rd level support for all IT systems and services.
  • Log and track incidents via the IT service management tool (Jira).
  • Work on escalated incidents from the IT service desk, ensuring timely updates and quality troubleshooting steps.
  • Ensure incident resolution within set SLAs.
  • Support remote work by driving down the support queue through efficient incident management.
  • Provide technical assistance via the central IT support channel, logging incidents on behalf of end-users.
  • Communicate critical issues to IT leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Perform daily checks on IT infrastructure and systems to ensure uptime and network performance.
  • Configure and deliver required hardware devices for the call center.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, replacing damaged parts and managing maintenance cycles with vendors.
  • Install new hardware, software, and printers.
  • Implement and assist in rolling out new applications and operating systems.
  • Prepare new laptops, install, and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications for onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with the local procurement team for asset management and tagging.
  • Meet technology-related needs of colleagues and minimize disruptions during meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computing or a similar discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure engineering.
  • Working knowledge of IAM, MDM, Office 365 or Google Apps, Slack, Zoom, Meraki WiFi, Apple Mac, Windows, VMWare, and Public/Private cloud technologies.
  • IT certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, ITIL are a plus.
About You:

You should be able to communicate project information effectively, support on Saturdays through shift rotation, and deliver engaging presentations. We're looking for someone who takes ownership and is proactive.
