Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proficiency in computer use, and good knowledge of laboratory tests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process laboratory tests prescribed by doctors and ensure accurate results are reported.
  • Brief patients about laboratory tests and procedures for specimen collection.
  • Hand over test reports to concerned individuals after verifying details.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, maintaining records of excess/shortage according to laboratory policy.
  • Confirm test requirements with patients and provide necessary instructions for specimen collection.
  • Respond to telephonic and in-person inquiries regarding laboratory tests and schedule patient appointments for special tests.
  • Perform dual function as a Phlebotomist at collection points as required.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of relevant work experience, including one year as a Phlebotomist.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer use and basic applications.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory tests and procedures.
  • Flexibility to perform shift duties.
