Financial Expert - REMOTE Opportunity
  • Main Responsibilities:

As a Financial Expert, you will be responsible for recording and maintaining day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This includes handling accounts payable and receivable, managing cash flow and payment schedules.

You will also be tasked with preparing and maintaining profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports. Additionally, you will maintain accurate company ledgers, tracking financial data and identifying trends.

Your responsibilities will include processing invoices, recording and approving or denying payments in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for completing tax forms accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Furthermore, you will enter data, maintain records, and create reports, including financial statements. You will process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely and efficient manner.

Lastly, you will reconcile entries into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will record debits and credits accurately, maintaining a balanced ledger. You will perform account reconciliation to assess the accuracy of transactions and identify any discrepancies.

In this role, you will use your knowledge of local and UK laws to comply with reporting requirements and monitor variances from projected budgets.

Key Skills:

To succeed in this position, you will need ability to work quickly and accurately, good concentration, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and high level of accuracy in work production.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualifications:

A minimum B.Com/ BSc/ M.Com /MBA/ MSc in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification is required.

Certifications:

An Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Experience:

A minimum of two years' experience in accounting/finance field, preferably in a UK-based firm, is essential.
