Job Role Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks within set timeframes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in financial services. The successful candidate will work on a variety of tasks including preparing financial accounts, submitting tax returns, and managing payroll systems.

The role requires proficiency in MS Office Suite applications, knowledge of VT Transaction+ and Ablegatio Ftax software, and familiarity with Moneysoft Payroll software and Nest Pensions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Financial Accounts: Preparing financial accounts for owner-managed entities, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • VAT Preparation: Quarterly VAT preparation for clients.
  • Submission of Tax Returns: Submission of tax returns to HMRC via the Gov.uk Portal.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: One year of experience working in a practice environment.
