Objective:

The role of Associate Scrum Master is to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach and guide Agile teams on Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead end-to-end execution using Agile frameworks, train team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices, and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure sprint goals are well-defined and achievable, assist the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization, and identify and remove obstacles that hinder team productivity.
  • Manage product releases after consultation with different stakeholders, act as a bridge between teams, Product Owners, and external stakeholders, and ensure clear communication of progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Track sprint progress using Agile tools, generate burndown charts and velocity reports for visibility, and ensure team commitments and deliverables align with business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in Agile environments, with a proven track record of successfully delivering Agile projects.
  • Proven experience of planning and managing releases, strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills, proficiency in Agile tools and practices like Jira, Confluence, and Strong knowledge of DevOps, Configuration Management and Version Control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), and preferred experience in scaling Agile frameworks (SoS, SAFe).
