Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to spearhead our procurement and supply chain activities.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead tendering processes, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic relationships with suppliers.
  • Assess supplier quotes, create comprehensive cost breakdowns, and develop client-facing quotations that align with company metrics.
  • Oversee the complete purchase order lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and timely processing.
  • Proactively monitor and track order statuses, promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure the accuracy and currency of the supplier database, inputting new data as necessary.
  • Take full ownership of procurement tasks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain regular communication with management.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical prowess.
  • Demonstrable leadership capabilities, underscored by a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and handle challenging situations with poise.
