The Senior HR Generalist is a dynamic role that combines recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy compliance, and learning & development.
This position plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's human resources function. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and hiring. You will also oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are smoothly integrated into the company and understand company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and manage recruitment processes.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are integrated into the company effectively.
- Maintain job postings on relevant platforms and coordinate orientation sessions for new employees.
- Process documentation for newly hired employees, including background verifications and probation evaluations.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Address and resolve employee issues promptly, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support and implement employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, team-building activities, and feedback forms to maintain a positive workplace environment.
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers to develop consistent approaches to people management.
- Lead initiatives to foster employee wellbeing, engagement, and organizational culture.
Performance Management:
- Assist in designing and implementing performance management systems, including goal setting and regular feedback sessions for employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and work closely with managers to address performance issues constructively.
- Provide support for ongoing professional development and training opportunities for employees.
Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to HR policies and company guidelines, regularly reviewing and updating them as necessary.
- Lead the development of new policies, focusing on innovation, employee wellbeing, and engagement.
- Conduct investigations in cases of policy violations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads and implement relevant development programs.
- Coordinate internal and external learning opportunities to foster continuous employee growth and upskilling.
- Contribute to the company's professional and personal training programs to enhance employee performance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Support compensation review and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and relevant packages.
- Conduct market research to maintain competitive benefits offerings and ensure employee satisfaction.
- Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, and HR-related services.
HR Reporting and Meetings:
- Attend HR strategy meetings with senior management to align HR initiatives with company goals.
- Generate and analyze HR metrics, such as recruitment, retention, and turnover rates, to inform decision-making.
- Provide insights from HR data to enhance the company's HR strategies and operational plans.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master's degree within the relevant field is preferable.
Other Details:
- 6 years of experience.
- Work timings: 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
- Work days: Monday - Friday.
- Work mode: Onsite.
- Market-competitive salary.
