We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team. The job holder will be responsible for managing legal compliance with regulators and company secretariat affairs, as well as day-to-day legal tasks, legal vetting, provision of legal opinions, legal research, legal risk mitigations, contract management, contract negotiations, in-depth knowledge of property laws in Pakistan, tenancy laws in various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, drafting notices and their responses.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • Ensure mandatory statutory filing with relevant authorities and make compliances with the company's laws and regulations, code of conduct, and corporate governance.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Furnish professional legal opinions to the company and its different departments, advise management on the legal implications of internal policies and procedures, and mitigate legal risks and damages in day-to-day legal affairs and in external and internal contracts and dealings.
  • Effective management of daily tasks record, legal office record, maintaining legal dashboards, effective and professional reporting, recommendations for strategic actions to the line manager.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and departments across Pakistan to assess legal risks and provide strategic solutions and requisite legal support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, LLB (Hon's) from a recognized university in Pakistan or outside of Pakistan.
  • LLM, master's degree or equivalent will be preferred.
  • Licence to practice in High Courts of Pakistan.
