Job Summary

This role involves executing financial and non-financial transactions, providing customer support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a branch environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transaction Execution: Handle cash deposits/withdrawals, local/foreign remittances, utility bills, outward clearing, cash sorting, payment orders, and fund transfers within established Turn Around Times.
  2. Voucher Preparation: Ensure proper execution and preparation of vouchers related to daily operational activities while adhering to Bank Regulations.
  3. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare accurate reports, logs, and registers on all operational activities, including cheque book issuance, local/foreign remittances, locker room records, and more.
  4. Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile cash balances in the core-banking system with physical cash inventory in the vault and ATM at day-end.
  5. Security and Storage: Properly store, handle, and balance cash and security stationery in the Branch Vault.
  6. Customer Support: Provide effective and efficient support to customers, focusing on transaction accuracy and low Turn Around Time.
  7. Issue Resolution: Resolve outstanding issues/lapses in daily operational activities in coordination with the Sr. BSO/Branch Service Manager.
  8. Centralized Operations: Maintain regular interaction with centralized operations departments to resolve transactional issues and ensure efficient processing of customer transactions.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes through regular review of Bank Circulars/Notifications.
  10. Audit and Inspection: Execute Branch Vault/Cash Counter transactions as required by internal audit/SBP inspection teams.
  11. Customer Verification: Screen and verify customers' identity and enter accurate details into the system during transaction execution.
  12. Cash Movement: Coordinate physical cash movement from/to the Branch Vault with approved security companies.
