About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned Product Segment Leader to oversee a portfolio of products for our organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for devising strategies to enhance product appeal, building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, and ensuring effective product management.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strong connections with local distributors and suppliers to secure optimal pricing and quality of services.
- Manage product segments, attributes sets, and attributes efficiently to maximize consumer appeal.
- Regularly update featured products to maintain consumer interest.
- Oversee data entry specialists to ensure accurate product information is entered in a timely manner.
- Foster trust-based relationships with vendors to negotiate better prices and improve services.
- Place timely orders to meet consumer demands and maintain product availability.
- Determine optimal product positioning to increase visibility and sales.
- Develop long-term growth strategies for product segments.
- Strong knowledge of computer and consumer electronics products, as well as the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Proven experience as a product segment leader or similar role.
- Solid understanding of product management, marketing, and sales principles.
- Ability to analyze data and forecast market trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and communication skills.
