Business Improvement Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Business Improvement Analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.

This role involves assisting in the development of solutions to enhance business processes and systems. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent analytical skills, able to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of information.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Gathering and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.

  2. Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into actionable requirements.

  3. Conducting research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  4. Assisting in the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.

  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives.

  6. Assisting in creating functional specifications, user stories, and other documentation as needed.

  7. Supporting the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.

  8. Providing ongoing support and assistance to end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases.

  9. Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the business.

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of information.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques is a plus.

  • Previous internship or work experience in business analysis or a related field is preferred.

  • Familiarity with project management concepts and practices is desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
