Community Outreach Coordinator

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing blood services to those in need. Our mission is to save lives by increasing blood donations and reducing the risk of blood-borne diseases.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Blood Donor Recruitment Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily blood collection camps, motivating donors to give blood, and developing an annual plan to increase blood donations.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of donations and reporting on monthly donor draw statistics.
Main Responsibilities
- Arrange daily blood collection camps in accordance with the blood center's targets.
- Motivate potential donors to give blood through various channels, including social media and community outreach.
- Develop an annual plan to increase blood donations and achieve the blood center's objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of donations and report on monthly donor draw statistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing or public health.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
