Job Description

  • Familiarity with trade terms and conditions, documentation such as purchase and sale invoices, delivery challans, stock transfers, and goods receipt notes.
  • Knowledge of commercial trade transactions and payment conditions and procedures, including booking of purchases, sales, transfers, etc., in the system.
  • Awareness of sales tax and transport documentation procedures, such as road transport permits/waybills, carrier responsibilities, dispatch documentation, etc.
  • Book closing procedures, including monthly stock reconciliation, physical verification reports of stocks, and preparing monthly stock reports.
  • Maintaining inventory files and updating them on a daily basis.
  • Verifying vendors'/service providers' bills against work orders for correctness/authenticity of services rendered.
  • Proper filing and maintenance of documents for future reference and audit whenever required.
  • Elevating matters to higher levels when necessary and not resolving issues individually.
Experience

Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
