Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee and manage projects involving Microsoft Fabric technology. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that leverage Microsoft Fabric for data integration, analytics, and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables, for Microsoft Fabric projects. Define project milestones, success criteria, and ensure effective team coordination.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, progress, and issues. Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, developers, and business analysts. Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure team members have necessary resources and support.
  4. Identify potential project risks and issues related to Microsoft Fabric implementation. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure project success.
  5. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices for Microsoft Fabric technologies. Conduct reviews and testing to verify that solutions are functional, reliable, and meet business requirements.
  6. Manage project resources effectively, including team members, budget, and technology. Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to address changes in project scope or priorities.
  7. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and post-implementation reviews. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in project management practices. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing technology projects.
  3. Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including data integration, analytics, and cloud solutions. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Familiarity with data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud technologies.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
