The role of Internal Audit Manager plays a pivotal part in maintaining the operational and financial integrity of an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements comprehensive audit plans for financial, regulatory, compliance, and operational reviews.
  • Coordinates with Risk, Legal, and other control-related activities to ensure seamless execution of internal audit functions.
  • Conducts thorough risk assessments to identify potential risks and gaps in controls, and develops strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Performs audit procedures to verify the effectiveness of controls through testing and interviewing techniques.
  • Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the control environment and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Documents the results of audit work in accordance with audit department standards.
  • Prepares timely and accurate audit reports for executive management and the Board of Directors.
  • Ensures adherence to SHT policies and promotes a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Provides expert advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and practices.
  • Offers constructive feedback on the performance of Internal Auditors and audit assignments.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of IIA standards and ability to comply fully with IIA guidelines.
  • Excellent project management skills, including supervising auditors to follow sound internal control practices and manage risks appropriately.
  • Adaptability, meeting deadlines, juggling multiple demands, and working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Superior negotiating, relationship-building, problem-solving, and timely problem-escalation skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detailed-oriented yet able to grasp the big picture.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Visio; experience with ERP software is highly desirable.
