Senior Contract Engineer
Job Title
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage contracts for hydropower projects. The ideal candidate will have strong contractual knowledge and excellent negotiation skills.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication. As a Senior Contract Engineer, you will develop, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will work closely with legal advisors and external consultants to resolve claims and disputes in a timely manner. Your expertise will also be used to prepare regular reports on contract performance and potential issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hydropower project requirements and industry standards. You will also possess excellent leadership skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and manage contracts for hydropower projects.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and timely resolution of claims and disputes.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract performance and potential issues.
  • Liaise with legal advisors and external consultants as required.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in contract management, administration, and claims resolution.
  • Strong understanding of hydropower project requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
