Software Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems that meet the needs of our organization.

Your primary focus will be on developing scalable, maintainable, and extensible architectures for mobile and web applications. You will work closely with development teams to allocate resources effectively, ensure the right mix of skills and expertise are applied to project tasks, and act as the primary liaison between technical teams and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing detailed project schedules and timelines, identifying key milestones and deadlines
  • Designing scalable, maintainable, and extensible architectures for mobile and web applications
  • Participating in technical discussions and reviews, ensuring that solutions align with industry standards
  • Resolving technical challenges and providing guidance on complex design decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years' experience of building Enterprise applications
  • 3+ years' experience of in architect-level roles, involving leadership and mentorship of development teams
Desired Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Experience with modern web development technologies, including Java (Spring, Spring Boot etc.) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue JS and React JS, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in mobile app development (iOS – Swift, Android – Kotlin/Java, React Native, Flutter etc.)
