Job Title: Associate Network Engineer

Overview

The role of the Associate Network Engineer involves supporting and implementing infrastructure projects across Pakistan, integrating products from various vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and others. This position requires a strong understanding of routing protocols, switching technologies, and network design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in deployments across Pakistan to ensure seamless implementation of infrastructure projects.
  • Manage JTAC and Cisco TAC cases efficiently to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to implement network configurations that meet organizational requirements.
  • Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks to improve their performance and efficiency.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Work with team members to resolve customer satisfaction issues and maintain high levels of service quality.
  • Maintain an understanding of corporate infrastructure to provide informed support and guidance.

Requirements

  • Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies are essential for success in this role.
  • Advanced knowledge of network design, architecture, protocols, and topology is necessary to drive network improvements.
  • Ability to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines is crucial for effective collaboration and delivery.

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is mandatory for this role.
  • Certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, and CCNA are highly desirable but not essential.

Competencies


Knowledge of R&S, VoIP, and Security is highly valued in this role. Additionally, being highly organized and motivated, with strong customer and consumer orientation, excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for success.
