Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a strategic fit between our company's competitive strategy and Supply Chain Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans that ensure timely shipment of finished goods, while minimizing inventory levels and reducing costs. This includes planning and scheduling of all materials, shop floor data collection, material movement, work order closure, and raw material consumption.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels for all kinds of chemicals, packing, general, and raw materials on a weekly and monthly basis using Oracle 9i software. Execute required management information systems to keep inventory losses/differences below goal levels.
  • Daily Operational Management: Ensure effective operation of the Logistics area, working closely with Store and Marketing organizations to ensure smooth flow of goods to and from the warehouse.
  • Procedure and Process Development/Implementation: Identify, develop, and implement necessary procedures to ensure fleet and carrier activities are properly performed, meeting carrier level of service requirements.
  • Procurement: Develop a procurement function that provides best expertise and cost-effective purchasing services, exploring new suppliers to assure highest quality, lowest prices, and best availability of products and services.
  • Warehousing: Maintain and efficiently oversee warehousing facilities, ensuring storage of all shipments and company assets. Provide necessary equipment and trained staff to ensure effective warehouse operations.
  • Safety and Accident Prevention: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in the yard, promoting high level of safety awareness among team members through continuous communication, education, and positive reinforcement of safe work practices.
  • Facility Management: Facilitate finance department in preparing annual budget, material consumption reports, and calculating average cost prices of finished goods at various stages.
  • ISO 9000 Quality Management System: Implement ISO 9000 quality management system and Statistical Techniques.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management, preferably in chemical industry.
