Medical Billing Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for accurately processing patient demographic and insurance information, preparing and submitting claims electronically or via paper format, and following up on denied or rejected claims.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, with proficiency in electronic health record systems and billing software. Strong analytical skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and achieving targets. Proficient understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and diverse insurance types is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience of 2 years in medical billing, encompassing claim submission, payment posting, follow-ups, eligibility checks, and denial management.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software such as ECW, Karea, Office Ally, Waystar, ModMed, Trizetto, Revolutionehr, Therapynotes, Greenway, and Change Healthcare, among others.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and keen attention to detail, enabling the identification and resolution of billing discrepancies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
