Job Title: Senior Manager Nursing - Leadership Position

Job Description:

To ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, you will oversee daily nursing operations and lead a team of nursing staff. Your role includes managing budgets, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.

  1. As a leader, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with quality nursing standards across all paramedical and nursing staff.
  2. You will play a key coordinating role between nursing, paramedical staff, consultants, and hospital administration to achieve smooth operations.
  3. Monitoring nursing healthcare practices through rounds and visits of wards, OPD, ER, OT, checking patients' files, nursing notes, and inventory of medicine is crucial in your role.
  4. You will serve as a member of the board for interviews of nursing staff for all general and critical areas, implementing orientation and training programs for new staff.
  5. Your duties include supervising and monitoring the duties of RHS hospitals matrons/nursing in charge.
  6. Closing interaction with nursing and paramedical staff to resolve operational and administrative affairs related to the workplace is essential.
  7. Developing and implementing approved policies and procedures, conducting regular internal monitoring/audit of healthcare quality standards, patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance of nursing procedures in coordination with the healthcare quality directorate is vital.
  8. You must ensure 100% compliance in HIMS Nursing Module in coordination with the HIMS coordinator and HQD, supporting implementation and monitoring tasks in the nursing module as per institutional requirements.
  9. Identifying training gaps and planning and organizing nursing and paramedical staff training in coordination with HQD/HDS, ensuring that all scheduled training sessions are conducted with 100% compliance, is a critical responsibility.
  10. Supervising, measuring, and improving post-training performance to ensure quality healthcare nursing services provision to patients is a key goal.
  11. You will develop a mechanism for nursing assistant training programs for paramedical staff at all levels in coordination with the School of Nursing and HQD.
  12. Coordinate with the Principal of Riphah College of Nursing for clinical training of college students at RHS Hospitals and support their training program as per the rules and standards of PNC.
  13. Achieving the implementation of Riphah Mission and Islamic Ethical Values in true spirit for staff at teaching hospitals by developing and monitoring mechanisms where these values reflect in every course of action and behavior is a primary objective.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post RN B.Sc. (Nursing) or Generic BSN with 10 to 12 years of experience with leading healthcare organizations.
