">- To oversee the daily operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
The role includes staff supervision, budgeting, compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.
">- Ensure management of paramedical and nursing staff, including deployment of staff with consultation of concerned matrons, ensuring 100% compliance with quality nursing standards.
- Play a coordinating role between nursing, paramedical staff, consultants, and hospital administration.
- Monitor nursing healthcare practices through rounds and visits of wards, OPD, ER, OT, check patients' files, nursing notes, and inventory of medicine, ensuring coordination with respective matrons for general cleanliness and maintenance of the wards with 100% compliance.
- Serve as a member of the board for interviews of nursing staff for all general and critical areas.
- Supervise and monitor the duties of nursing in charge.
- Maintain close interaction with nursing and paramedical staff to resolve their operational and administrative affairs related to the workplace.
- Develop and implement approved policies and procedures, conduct regular internal monitoring/audit of healthcare quality standards, patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance of nursing procedures in coordination with the healthcare quality directorate. Suggest and implement improvements as required.
- Ensure 100% compliance in HIMS Nursing Module in coordination with the HIMS coordinator.
- Identify training gaps and plan and organize nursing and paramedical staff training in coordination with HQD/HDS, ensuring that all scheduled training sessions are conducted with 100% compliance.
- Supervise, measure, and improve post-training performance to ensure quality healthcare nursing services provision to patients.
- Develop a mechanism for nursing assistant training programs for paramedical staff at all levels.
- Achieve the implementation of Riphah Mission and Islamic Ethical Values in true spirit for staff by developing and monitoring mechanisms where these values reflect in every course of action and behavior.
