Executive Financial Leadership

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.

  1. Assist in developing strategic business plans and direct their implementation to achieve operational excellence.
  2. Develop and execute financial and tax strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  3. Oversee budgeting processes and ensure effective capital management.
  4. Establish performance measures aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  5. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with all members of the management team.
  7. Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments to ensure seamless operations.
  8. Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations to optimize performance.
  9. Ensure the effective outsourcing of functions to third parties.
  10. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems to maintain efficiency and security.
  11. Implement best practices across all areas of the organization.
  12. Oversee employee benefit plans to maximize cost-effectiveness.
  13. Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions to drive growth.
  14. Oversee the issuance of financial information to stakeholders.
  15. Personally review and approve all filings with regulatory bodies.
  16. Report financial results to the board of directors.
  17. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  18. Monitor open legal issues involving the company and affecting the industry.
  19. Construct and monitor reliable control systems to ensure compliance.
  20. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
  21. Ensure that record keeping meets auditor and government agency requirements.
  22. Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
  23. Maintain relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
  24. Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure liquidity.
