Solar Design Engineer Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in solar design and project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and be able to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering and project support tasks for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic systems.

The Solar Design Engineer will work closely with clients outside of Pakistan, primarily in the United States. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed design packages for utility-scale solar PV systems, including plan and elevation drawings, schematics, and energy model calculations.
  • Create conceptual design layouts and electrical diagrams for commercial-scale solar arrays using computer-aided design software.
  • Design electrical single/three-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems.
  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification and experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in Solar Design.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
