Job Description:
As a Senior Unix Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining high competency in various focus areas. These include Unix Systems Engineering, particularly supporting technologies such as Redhat versions 8, Windows Management, Bash Shell scripting, Server Deployment, LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), Automation of Server Installations, and cPanel & Plesk Certifications. You will also maintain knowledge of Active Directory, Systems Virtualization (Nutanix, VMWare), and Enterprise Storage Management (Dell/EMC Isilon). Additionally, familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (AWS, Azure) is required.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain high competency in Unix Systems Engineering
• Support technologies such as Redhat versions 8, Windows Management, and Bash Shell scripting
• Maintain knowledge of Active Directory, Systems Virtualization, and Enterprise Storage Management
• Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (AWS, Azure)
• Scope project implementation, ongoing operations costs, deployment timelines, and critical lifecycle planning dates

Qualifications/Eligibility:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience as a UNIX system administrator
• Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX principles, file editing, commands, and file manipulation
• Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and LINUX shell scripting
• Familiarity with networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP/IP, VLANs, and UDP
• Understanding of backup procedures and storage management
