Job Title:

A Dispatch Coordinator

  • Coordinates dispatch operations and ensures seamless communication between teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive emergency and non-emergency calls, record significant information, and prioritize accordingly.
  2. Address problems and requests by providing solutions or transmitting relevant information.
  3. Maintain situational awareness through monitoring routes and status of field units.
  4. Cordinate schedules and provide real-time updates to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  5. Utilize radio, phone, or computer systems to send crews, vehicles, or other field units to designated locations.
  6. Collaborate with field units to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a dispatcher or equivalent role.
  • Proficient typing skills with data entry experience.
  • Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Active listening and critical thinking skills.

Work Environment:

This is a remote role requiring flexibility and reliability.
