Job Description

We are seeking an experienced technical support engineer with a profound knowledge of Linux and Windows to provide exceptional customer support to our clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage support systems, live chat, phone calls, and support tickets/emails.
  • Administer Linux servers, providing technical support operations, including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring.
  • Provide customer support by administering and maintaining web hosting services and servers to support business operations and end users.
  • Follow up on customer issues via Helpdesk and provide necessary support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Problem-solving skills with analytical thinking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Hosting Control Panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk.
  • Sound knowledge of Linux servers and strong command of the Linux command line.
  • Familiarity with WHMCS and other ticket management systems.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting and understanding of web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/BIND, Email, Web server, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, email clients.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Xen, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V.
  • Ability to manage customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in the web hosting industry and Linux server administration.
  • Strong team player, able to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems; Linux knowledge is mandatory.
  • Able to maintain databases and server backups.
  • Able to provide excellent results and services for assigned tasks.
  • Able to work independently and report to Team Lead/Manager.
