Lead Manager - Asset Maintenance

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Manager to oversee the maintenance and projects of our assets.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or equivalent, with at least 9 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas Sector.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and construction staff.
  • Inspirational Leadership: Demonstrate leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with consultants and contractors for effective quality and quantity of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis: Analyze requirements and prepare corresponding BOQs / cost estimates, commensurate to project requirements.

Decision Making: Make effective decisions and navigate challenges.

Project Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects.

Schedule Development: Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Bid Evaluation: Technically evaluate bids in accordance with the bid document.

Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs to meet budgetary constraints.

Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and provide guidance and support to team members when needed.

Communication: Ensure effective communication within the team and with all stakeholders.

Safety Protocols: Maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Contract Compliance: Ensure contract compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project.

Risk Management: Implement risk management plans to safeguard project success.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with relevant MS Office tools and project management systems.
