About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing awareness among managers and ensuring that HSE is integrated into line management responsibilities and objectives.
  • This role involves assisting management and support functions in establishing, maintaining, implementing, and improving the HSE Management System, defining HSE objectives, and liaising with clients and third-party subcontractors regarding HSE.
  • Key duties include generating and implementing local standards and procedures, assessing local risks, preparing HSE plans, and setting up controls to verify proper implementation and maintaining related records.
  • The role also involves conducting management review meetings to assess the effectiveness of the HSE Management System and identifying required improvements.
  • Additionally, this position requires advising management on corrective actions required, coordinating and participating in personnel screening and training, and keeping abreast of new developments related to HSE.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring relevant HSE documentation is available on site and advising management on compliance with local regulations.
  • This role involves participating in liaising with third-party subcontractors and clients regarding HSE, actively following up on HSE-related subjects, and participating in audits and investigations.
  • Developing and maintaining awareness among personnel through communications, training, and active involvement in HSE prevention and reporting is also a key responsibility.
  • Finally, the role requires recommending changes to the HSE program, ensuring regular updating of personal certifications, and attending to personal training as required.
