About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to spearhead our team's IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex IT systems, particularly in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Architecture:
    Develop robust, scalable architectures for banking solutions.
    Create architectural blueprints ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
    Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
    Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure banking solutions' highest quality and performance.
  • Solution Development:
    Lead the design and development of end-to-end solutions, including integration with third-party systems and legacy platforms.
    Ensure solutions are maintainable, meet high-security standards required in the banking sector,
    Oversee proof-of-concept initiatives to validate technology solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutions.
    Presentation of architectural solutions and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years as a Solution Architect.
  • Proven experience in the banking sector, with deep understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Strong background in designing and implementing complex IT solutions, including cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure).
