Job Title: Senior Banking Operations ManagerJob Description:
  • The Senior Banking Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of banking operations, ensuring control environments are regularly reviewed and assessed, and identified control gaps and weaknesses are addressed.
  • This role supports the execution of audit's strategic priorities through independent review within the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, finance, risk management, retail analytics, and other functional areas to identify risks and recommend corrective action or process changes.
  • Contributing to the improvement of the risk management and internal control system, as well as operational processes, by expressing opinion regarding strategically important projects.
  • Providing consultative support and guidance to senior management by providing expert professional opinion in product development and process improvement.

Requirements:

  • A Chartered Accountant with 8 years of experience in audit, mainly in a banking environment, with increasing responsibility; at least 4+ years spent at managerial level.
  • A proven track record of managing and interacting with senior management, the board audit committee, and regulators.
  • Team leadership qualities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and specialized knowledge of financial statements and comprehension of products and composite risks.
