Sales Engineer - Power & Utilities Role

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Sales Engineer at Bureau Veritas Group in Karachi.

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing techno-commercial support, sales engineering, communication, customer service, and sales activities related to Power & Utilities projects.

">Job Responsibilities:">
  • Business Development: Develop business strategies for the Power & Utilities product portfolio in renewable, thermal, and hydro sectors, including market surveys, support to networks, proposals, tenders, etc.">
  • Sales Strategies: Establish sales strategies to develop business in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors based on client needs.">
  • Lead Business Development: Lead business development for major opportunities in coordination with area offices and business line/functional heads.">
  • Project Management: Maintain project, opportunity, & tender lists for large opportunities in Sales Force.">
  • Client Satisfaction: Coordinate market sector networks and ensure client satisfaction.">
  • Tender Preparation: Identify, prepare, and submit pre-qualification, expressions of interest, offers & tenders, including review processes.">
  • Key Account Management: Manage and grow key accounts as defined by Sales and BL Managers.">
  • Marketing Support: Support marketing efforts with presentation materials, catalogs, reference lists, and client communications.">
">Required Qualifications and Skills:">
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power, or relevant field.">
  • Experience: 4-8 years of Sales/BD experience in renewable, thermal, and hydro sectors or related fields.">
  • Pricing Strategies: Experience in pricing strategies, financial modeling, and contract negotiation.">
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.">
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and project management software; CRM experience is a plus.">
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy.">
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.">
