Job Title: Fence Estimator

This position involves creating detailed cost estimates and pricing strategies for residential and commercial fencing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements for custom fencing projects.
  • Ensure adherence to established company procedures for accurate cost estimation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop bids and proposals that meet client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather information and answer questions about the estimate.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of estimates and bid proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in building codes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably with direct experience in the fencing industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and methods, preferably related to fencing projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
