Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Associate to join our team. As an Accounts Associate, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the company's accounting system, organizing financial records, and supporting key accounting activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and configuring the accounting system to meet the organization's financial reporting and compliance needs.

  • Organizing and maintaining accurate records of receipts, incentives, and deposits.

  • Ensuring proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions for easy accessibility and audits.

  • Assisting in data entry, ensuring accuracy in recording financial transactions.

  • Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accounts.

  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.

  • Generating financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Collaborating with the HR department to process employee payrolls efficiently and accurately.

  • E nsuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements related to payroll.

  • L earning and documenting all accounting and financial processes.

  • I dentifying opportunities for process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing ACCA or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Xero).

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and their integration into accounting workflows.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping processes.
