Detailed Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients and medical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, preparing reminders, maintaining patient records, and assisting with insurance verification processes.
You will also be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for patients, and escalating complex patient concerns to the appropriate medical staff or departments.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Confirming Appointments: Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone or email.
- Preparing Reminders: Prepare and send reminders for upcoming appointments or follow-ups.
- Patient Records Management: Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Insurance Verification: Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes.
- CORRESPONDENCE MANAGEMENT: Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for patients.
- Escalation: Escalate complex patient concerns to the appropriate medical staff or departments.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of telehealth experience in a UK or US-based healthcare company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
- Proficient in using scheduling and communication tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
