Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a creative and experienced marketing specialist to lead our social media presence. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and managing online communities to enhance brand visibility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, communications, or journalism, with a proven track record of success in social media management and content creation. They will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement;
  • Creating high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for social media posts, blogs, and email campaigns;
  • Managing and growing social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok;
  • Tracking and analyzing social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Instagram Insights;
  • Preparing detailed reports on social media metrics (e.g., reach, engagement) and providing actionable recommendations;
  • Collaborating with the SEO team to ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligns with keyword strategies;

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field;
  • 2+ years of proven experience in social media management and content creation;
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software;
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices;
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization;
