
Public Sector Bid Writer Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting detailed and informative responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications.
You will conduct research across multiple departments and on customer profiles to gather necessary information for bid submissions. This includes attending and participating in bid kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders, maintaining and updating a library of existing and in-progress bids, and keeping an eye on industry trends to alert the sales team to potential new opportunities.
As a Bid Writer, you will thrive in a dynamic and growing team, contributing to the success of various projects. You will also assist with additional projects to support team members when required.

- Compelling Writing: Craft detailed and informative responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications.
- Research: Conduct research across multiple departments and on customer profiles to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
- Bid Kick-Off Meetings: Attend and participate in bid kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Bid Library Management: Maintain and update a library of existing and in-progress bids.
- Commercial Awareness: Keep an eye on industry trends and alert the sales team to potential new opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Thrive in a dynamic and growing team, contributing to the success of various projects.
- Support: Assist with additional projects to support team members when required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bid and Tender Writing: A minimum of five years of experience in bid writing and managing tenders, ideally within the public sector.
- RFIs and RFPs Expertise: Strong background in handling and responding to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in all bid-related documents.
- Time Management: Excellent time-keeping skills and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using the MS Office suite and familiarity with bid management tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-Motivation: Proactive, self-driven, and committed to delivering the highest standards in every bid.
