Financial Transaction Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Transaction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management.

Job Description

The Financial Transaction Manager will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process. This includes reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month. Additionally, the role involves monitoring financial transactions and reports, processing accounts receivable and payable, and working with the accounting team to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports. A comprehensive financial filing system must also be maintained to ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and post day-to-day financial transactions
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports
  • Process accounts receivable and payable
  • Maintain a comprehensive financial filing system
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, as well as proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. Data entry skills and a knack for numbers are essential. Experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software is also required. Proficiency in MS Office and English is necessary, while a BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus. Familiarity with bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar, is highly desirable.
