Key Responsibilities:
  • Create scalable backend systems: Design APIs, services, and data pipelines for mobile and web applications.
  • Earn reliability and performance: Optimize system architecture to handle rapid growth and large-scale user activity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, develop, and deploy new features.
  • Develop clean code: Follow best practices in software development, testing, and documentation.
  • Own deployment and monitoring: Manage services from development to production, ensuring high availability and quick incident response.

We are a remote-first company, allowing our team to work from the office, from home, or anywhere they choose. Teams may coordinate internally to determine if occasional office presence is needed.

Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of backend development experience, ideally in designing, building, and maintaining production systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Passion for building reliable, secure, and high-performance systems.
  • Team-oriented mindset: open to feedback, willing to help others, and collaborative in problem-solving.
