We're on the hunt for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead our Engineering team's backend systems. This role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about shaping the future of home services.

About the Position
  • This is a key role where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems that meet our business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
  • Develop and implement APIs for 3rd party integrations, including customer-to-supplier dispatching algorithms, real-time order tracking, and database modeling.
  • Implement safety and flexibility in attribute management systems and enhance availability and assignment algorithms.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and MVC architecture.
  • Experience with RDBMS (MySQL) and MongoDB, as well as ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Comfortable working with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
