Job Description

We're seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems that meet the needs of our customers.

You will contribute to building every product we deliver to real customers: CTOs, COOs, and engineering teams of small and medium businesses.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of industry experience as a backend or product engineer, with strong object-oriented programming fundamentals in Java.

Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate (or equivalent), relational database design, and SQL optimisation is highly desirable.

Able to design and build scalable backend systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.

We're an early-stage fully remote startup looking for skilled engineers to help us improve and scale our product.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of backend engineering principles
  • Experience with Java and its ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and Hibernate
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
