Financial Analyst Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating reports, and forecasting future trends. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to enhance financial planning and improve demand forecasting accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Extract, organize, and analyze financial data from multiple sources to drive actionable insights.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain advanced financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Business Intelligence: Provide comprehensive ad-hoc reporting and in-depth data analysis to address complex business challenges across departments.
  • Foresight: Partner with sales and operational teams to enhance demand forecasting accuracy and refine forecasting models.
  • Risk Management: Analyze seasonal trends, market dynamics, and business performance to model financial scenarios, assess risks, and identify opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning: Drive the development of long-term financial forecasts and strategic plans to support organizational growth.
  • Sourcing: Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply chain operations.
  • Pricing Strategy: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and refine pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Profitability Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis by product, customer, and region to inform pricing decisions and business strategy.
  • Financial Compliance: Partner with accounting and audit teams to ensure data accuracy, improve financial reporting processes, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, NetSuite, and SAP.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data Management: Ability to work with large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Educational Background: MBA in Finance or equivalent.
  • Certifications: CFA Level II preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Prior experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance roles will be an advantage.
